  Poisoning from the escaping sewer gases, that invaded the home as the result of a broken pipe in the cellar, is believed to have caused the death of the two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Vogel which occurred Saturday evening and it is feared that other members of the family have been affected. Symptoms of the child's illness indicated poison of some nature and investigation made revealed the broken sewer pipe in the cellar, in a room that is directly under that used by the family as sleeping apartments and it is the opinion given by physicians that death was due to the escaping gases.
